This adapter features a female socket and female NPT threaded connection, allowing seamless adaptation from a solvent weld connection to a threaded one. CPVC is an excellent choice for applications involving hot corrosive liquids and water distribution above the temperature range of standard PVC, as it resists rust, pitting, scaling, and corrosion. Easy to install through solvent cementing or threading, this lead-free fitting meets UPC, IPC, and cUPC standards and is NSF Listed, ANSI and IAPMO Certified.
