It features two sides of 6" x 2 5/8" interrupted diamond surface sharpening, ideal for knives, scissors, and various tools, along with the added advantage of a continuous diamond zone perfect for small and pointed tools. The Extra-Fine diamond side, with a 9 micron (1200 mesh) grit, is perfect for polishing and refining a razor-sharp edge after initial sharpening with the coarser Fine diamond side, which has a 25 micron (600 mesh) grit for creating a sharp edge. Sharpening with these diamond surfaces is fast, easy, and clean—no oils are required, and it can be used dry or with water.
