Ideal AL/CU Wire Connector is designed to provide a secure and reliable connection between aluminum and copper wires while preventing aluminum corrosion. This connector features a specially formulated corrosion-resistant compound that ensures cooler connections and enhances conductivity. Its swept-wing design offers comfort during installation, and the live-action, square-wire spring provides a dependable grip. The hexagonal shape is compatible with standard nutdrivers, and no pre-twisting of wires is required, making the installation process straightforward. The connector is purple in color and comes in a package of two. It is shell rated for 105 degrees Celsius and meets safety standards as it is UL listed and CSA certified. Ideal for joining aluminum to copper wire, it supports a minimum combination of one 10 AWG aluminum wire with one 18 AWG copper wire, and a maximum combination of one 10 AWG aluminum wire with two 10 AWG copper wires.
