INSL-X Stix Waterborne Bonding Primer, 1 Quart is a high-performance waterborne urethane acrylic bonding primer designed to strongly adhere to hard, glossy paints and other challenging surfaces including PVC, vinyl, fiberglass, glazed block, tile, pre-coated siding, and galvanized metals. This primer levels out to a smooth film, significantly enhancing the appearance of the topcoat. It is versatile and can be topcoated with latex, alkyd, epoxy, urethane, or lacquer coatings, making it suitable for both interior and exterior applications. The formula resists blistering, cracking, and wrinkling caused by moisture, and it cures effectively even in low temperatures down to 35 degrees Fahrenheit. With its low odor and low VOC waterborne formula, it is an environmentally friendly choice that covers approximately 400 square feet per gallon on smooth surfaces.
