Loctite Insulating Sealant Foam, 12 oz. is a next-generation polyurethane-based insulating foam sealant designed to fill, seal, and insulate gaps and cracks both indoors and outdoors. This white polymer foam is formulated with purified and concentrated ingredients, offering four times the density of conventional foams for enhanced durability and superior insulation. It is user-friendly, featuring an attached straw applicator for easy application and providing a quick, lasting seal against the elements. Loctite TITE FOAM adheres excellently to most building materials, including wood, concrete, stone, and metal, and contains no CFC propellants. Ideal for sealing around wiring and plumbing penetrations, HVAC ductwork, basement and crawlspace drafts, sill plates, rim joists, attic hatches, under baseboards, gas line penetrations, and outdoor water faucets, it also helps keep out drafts, moisture, pests, and bugs. While it boasts significantly higher UV resistance, it is recommended to protect the foam from prolonged UV exposure. Note that this foam is not suitable for fire-stopping applications.
