Rust-Oleum Professional Aluminum Oil Base Protective Enamel, Gallon offers a durable and tough finish that provides excellent hiding and protection for interior or exterior surfaces. Designed to protect most metal, wood, or masonry surfaces, this enamel resists weathering, salt air, moisture, mild chemicals, and industrial fumes, making it ideal for a variety of environments. For best results, prime metal surfaces with Rusty Metal Primer or White Clean Metal Primer before application. This enamel covers up to 400 square feet per gallon, dries to the touch within 2 to 6 hours, and can be recoated after 24 hours. It can be applied using a brush, roller, or spray, and if thinning is necessary for spraying, use paint thinner or mineral spirits. Cleanup is simple with paint thinner or mineral spirits. The finish is typically gloss sheen unless otherwise specified, and it is available in flat, semi-gloss, or satin sheens.
