Schluter Rondec 3/8 in. Bright Black, Anodized Aluminum is a finishing and edge-protection profile designed for the outside corners of tiled surfaces. It features a trapezoid-perforated anchoring leg that securely embeds into the mortar bond coat beneath the tile, creating a symmetrically rounded outer corner with a 1/4" (6 mm) radius along the surface edge. This profile is crafted from anodized aluminum and is part of a diverse range of materials and finishes including stainless steel, solid brass, chrome-plated solid brass, color-coated aluminum, Tuscan color-coated aluminum, and PVC. Schluter Rondec offers excellent color coordination with tile and grout, enabling the creation of striking decorative accents while protecting tile edges from mechanical damage. Its robust construction makes it suitable for use as stair nosing or transition profiles, as well as for transitions, corners, or dado coverings with various materials such as carpet, parquetry, natural stone tiles, or cold-cured resin coverings. The integrated joint spacer ensures a defined joint cavity with the tile, enhancing the overall finish.
