Schluter Rondec 3/8 in. Brushed Nickel (Anodized Aluminum) is a versatile finishing and edge-protection profile designed for the outside corners of tiled surfaces. It features a trapezoid-perforated anchoring leg that securely bonds beneath the tile in the mortar coat, creating a symmetrically rounded outer corner with a 1/4" (6 mm) radius along the surface edge. Available in a variety of materials including stainless steel, solid brass, chrome-plated brass, color-coated aluminum, anodized aluminum, Tuscan color-coated aluminum, and PVC, this profile offers a wide range of colors and finishes to coordinate seamlessly with tile and grout, adding decorative accents to your design. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, it protects tile edges from mechanical damage, with the stainless steel option providing exceptional wear resistance. Schluter Rondec can also be used as a stair nosing or transition profile and is suitable for transitions, corners, or dado coverings with other materials such as carpet, parquetry, natural stone tiles, or cold-cured resin coverings. The integrated joint spacer creates a defined joint cavity with the tile, except for the stainless steel version which does not include this feature.
