Watco Natural Danish Oil Finish, 1 Quart is a penetrating oil finish designed to enhance and protect wood surfaces without cracking, chipping, or peeling. This finish stains and protects in a single easy step, delivering a natural hand-rubbed appearance that is resistant to water and alcohol. It can be topcoated with Varathane Liquid Plastic or Elite Diamond Finish after 72 hours if additional protection is desired. Favored by master craftsmen yet simple enough for DIY enthusiasts, this oil finish is best applied with a soft cloth but can also be used with a brush or synthetic steel wool. It is excellent for furniture, cabinets, doors, trim, and paneling, covering 55 to 75 square feet per quart. Surfaces treated with this finish are ready for use within 8 to 10 hours of application, and cleanup is easy with paint thinner or mineral spirits. Please note, it is not recommended for floors.
