The ladder is equipped with slip-resistant Traction-Tred 1-1/2 inch flat D-rungs and a durable rail shield bracket and shoe with Shu-Lok slip-resistant pad and spur plate. Its electrically non-conductive orange fiberglass rails make it ideal for jobs requiring extra safety. For ladders 20 feet and longer, a rope and pulley system is included for easy extension. To maintain its strength and longevity, fiberglass ladders should not be stored in direct sunlight as ultraviolet rays can weaken the polyester resins over time.
