Featuring a high-quality 1/2" chuck that rides on precision bearings, you can easily attach your handheld drill to the standard hex shank and drill with confidence. The included stop collar guarantees consistent hole depth, while its tapered flat design prevents accidental displacement. This versatile tool also includes a base and fence system that helps you keep hole locations accurate. Laser-engraved centerlines on the base perimeter provide an exact positioning reference, and the base opening accommodates holes up to 3/4" in diameter. For larger holes, simply swap the chuck carrier to the outside of the base to drill up to 2" diameter holes. The guide also comes with reference pins to drill perfectly centered holes in stock up to 3-1/8" wide, and a vee-groove milled into the base allows safe drilling into round stock. Adjust the fence along stainless-steel guide rods to position it further from the edge, and extend the fence with compatible extensions for extra reach. The fence can slide under the base for close-edge work or be reversed for maximum distance. It also offers extra support when working on narrow edges and acts as an outrigger for added stability when not in use. The base is drilled and tapped for fence guide rods on all four edges, allowing flexible extension in any direction. Please note, this product is not designed for use with impact drivers.
