Oneway Spindle Steady Rest is a reliable tool designed for spindle turners to effectively manage vibration and work with flexible materials during woodturning. This steady rest is easy to mount on most lathes at any time, featuring a unique "scissor" clamping mechanism that allows for quicker and easier adjustments compared to traditional steady rests. It occupies minimal swing space while significantly dampening vibration, making it ideal for spindles ranging from 1/2" to 3" in diameter. The set includes a tension arm assembly, three wheels, a 1-1/4" post, a slotted base, and a hardware package.
