The substantial weight of the handle helps absorb vibration during heavy roughing cuts while adding stability for fine finishing cuts. Two set screws securely clamp the tool in place, ensuring a rigid hold. This handle can also be coupled with others to create extra-long handles for special turning applications that require a solid grip.
