This wheel is especially suitable for carving tools and knives where minimal steel removal is required. It works effectively on various materials including steel, ceramic, and carbide. The diamond abrasive is applied on two surfaces—the edge and one side—allowing you to create either a concave or flat bevel cutting edge on your tools. For vertical sharpening, the MB-100 Multi-Base must be used along with the appropriate jigs. The package also includes a 150ml bottle of anti-corrosion concentrate to help maintain your tools.
