Tormek KJ-45 Centering Knife Jig

Tormek KJ-45 Centering Knife Jig is a patented jig designed to deliver symmetrical bevels with the same angle on both sides of the knife, regardless of blade thickness, shape, or geometry. Whether sharpening regular kitchen knives or thicker, tapered hunting knives, this jig ensures consistent results on both bevels without the need to reset. It fits a wide range of knives including household, chef’s, craft, hunting, and fishing knives, as well as woodcarver’s straight drawknives and gardener’s pruning shears. The jig centers knife blades up to 10 mm thick and can sharpen blades down to 60 mm long and 12 mm tall. For smaller knives, it can be combined with the SVM-00 Small Knife Holder (sold separately) to accommodate very small blades. An extra stop allows sharpening of tall knives like cleavers, and with the US-430 Universal Support Extended, even taller knives or tools can be sharpened. The clamps are robustly built with cast zinc and fiberglass-reinforced composite stops, and the jig slides smoothly with low friction against the universal support.
