Tormek XB-100 Horizontal Base allows you to sharpen tools with the rotation of the grinding wheel running away from the edge, known as edge trailing, instead of into the edge, which is edge leading. This design provides a safer and more efficient sharpening experience. The XB-100 Horizontal Base was originally supplied as standard equipment on all Tormek S-2000 and S-1200 machines manufactured after August 8, 2001.
